Steve Martin, CEO (Board Member)
Prior to joining Six Eight Solutions as a founding partner and CEO, Steve led KPMG’s business development for the BC government. Steve is a respected champion of public safety and an experienced public & private sector leader. He is a former BC Superintendent of Motor Vehicles. Steve is recognized as the architect driving force behind the BC Immediate Roadside Prohibition Program (IRP) which established a new approach to impaired driving in British Columbia; the IRP Program has saved over 500 lives since its introduction in September 2010 and is widely recognized as a leading practice in Canada. Steve’s main practice area for Six Eight is business and strategic planning along with stakeholder engagement, developing solutions to complex issues throughout public safety and policing.

Triana Newton, COO (Board Member)
Triana is one of the founding partners of Six Eight Solutions. Triana is multi disciplined senior leader with over 30 years of business transformation, management consulting and learning development experience in North America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. She is the co-creator of CLARITEE which is an organizational transformation model and she has brought CLARITEE to everything from ramping start ups to large scale change initiatives in enterprise and government. Triana’s main practice area for Six Eight is the “member lifecycle strategy” coaching agencies in talent attraction, selection and then growth and retention.

Bima Ribeiro, Traffic Enforcement Operational Excellence
Bima is one of the founding partners of Six Eight Solutions. Bima is a seasoned impaired driving enforcement specialist with 15 years of policing almost entirely dedicated to traffic enforcement and impaired driving investigations. Bima oversaw the province-wide enforcement implementation roll-out of the BC Immediate Roadside Prohibition Program for over 2,500 traffic enforcement officers. Bima is a certified operator, instructor and calibrator of the roadside screening device used by BC as well as a certified operator and instructor of the evidentiary instrument used by law enforcement. Bima’s main practice area for Six Eight is developing operational excellence around Traffic enforcement programs through training, coaching and technology adoption.

Brian Image, Science and Technical Specialist (Roadside Screening)
Brian is a partner in Six Eight Solutions. He is a nationally recognized forensic toxicologist who has written hundreds of forensic alcohol reports and articles. He is a current member of the Canadian Society of Forensic Science, and the International Association of Chemical Testing. Brian has also served on the BC Association of Chiefs of Police Breath Test Advisory Committee. Brian’s main practice area for Six Eight is providing scientific and technical advice to support effective roadside screening programs.

Daffydd Hermann, Leadership and Professional Standards Excellence
Daffydd is a founding member of Six Eight Solutions. He has over 41 years of policing with over 25 years of that time in senior leadership. Daffydd’s career has been devoted to public safety as the lead SME on several major safety centric provincial initiatives and traffic management programs. Daffydd was awarded the Queen’s Commission for exemplary service and the Order of Merit recognizing outstanding meritorious service during his career. In addition to his expertise in public safety and traffic enforcement, he has been writing statutory decisions on police discipline matters. Daffydd’s main practice area for Six Eight is providing coaching in professional standards and operational excellence around incident planning and execution.
